BAGDAD, THE LAMB AND THE 144000
"Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great city! She made
all the nations drink of the wine of her immoral passion."
It is with a similar astonishment that the unbelieving
world discovered the fall of the Baghdad regime as reported by all the newspapers
headlines of the planet after an American tank pulled Saddam's statue down
to the ground. Amazingly, the story had already been written for nearly
2000 years in chapter 14.8 of the Bible Revelations. But to confirm that
the facts correspond to the prophecy, it is necessary to first determine
the meaning of: "She made all the nations drink of the wine of her immoral
passion." No such victory over sin can be traced back in the history
of Mesopotamia since the fall of Nebuchadnezzar. It would seem however that
the recent events have to do with the prophecy.
Iraq certainly advanced towards democracy, but nothing
on the ground of morality. So should we believe the holy writings, it could
mean that the fall of Baghdad is not yet finished. It can already be assumed
that an Islamic Shiite republic will soon be put in place. Saint John's
prophetic words will turn out to be reality, and no woman will remain to
be seen on the streets of Baghdad with her face is uncovered. The Iranian
Ayatollahs will claim with a feverish satisfaction that each of the prophetic
words proves that God is on their side. Nothing, if not war, will keep the
whole region, starting with Egypt, from falling into fundamentalism.
Foolish! This is a Christian and nonMoslem prophecy!
Saint-John cannot have rejoiced of that! Christians value tolerance! These
bewilderments do not even state approximately the reality of the Christian
and Moslem religions fundamentals. Their resemblance bring them much closer
to one another than official politically correct history agrees to imply.
It is necessary to keep an open mind here. Biblical prophecies
are not anti-Islamic. Moslem prophecies are not anti-Christian either.
These two religions come from the same "Brahamic" mould (Abraham), just
like Judaism as a matter of fact. And the theologians explain that all
3 belong to the sole "monotheist block ".
All three contain their share of tolerance, intolerance,
mystery and Puritanism while upholding the concept of God' unity and uniqueness.
They contain a part of mysteries that still need to be explained. It may
be this opacity that causes fanatics to aggress one another. No one should
try to impose to God the words and intentions that Him only can know. Also,
all three are puritan. Sexuality is regulated while nudity is harshly repressed.
Historically, this may have appeared like discriminating against women.
But nonreligious societies have, on the whole, granted less place and consideration
to females.
These three religions have an annoying propensity to overbid
one another as if the other was a constant threat to them. The Christian
religion brings a higher bid on Judaism by affirming that Jesus-Christ is
the Messiah whom the Jews didn't manage to recognize. The Moslems do only
the same thing to Christians by lowering Jesus-Christ to the rank of a prophet,
opinion that they share with the Jews. And they confirm this by contending
that Mohammed is "The" last prophet. However, no one will ever be able
to topple the Christians who made of Jesus God in person, the Jews and Moslems
only hearing this as a blasphemy.
This can be thought of as a kindergarten playground:
"My father, he's a fireman!" "But mine he's stronger than
yours!" And in the end, it all degenerates into a general brawl. Humans
will have a lot to laugh about after the great conflict. In the meantime,
it should be kept in mind that turning the meaning of the holy writings
upside down and diverting them for general destruction purposes is the essence
of Satanism.
In this capharnaüm, why then not turn to Hinduism? It
has been around for a longer time than its three sisters and it can appear
to be more serene. But this would deny the truth about Hinduism.
Looking at it closely, it becomes clear that Brahman
and Abraham have the same etymological, geographical and historical origin.
India would be the first of all latter civilizations and faiths among which
also stands Buddhism. Judaism would have started there and Christianity
is a result of the Krishna worship, which itself derived from Mithra of
Persia and which foundations indirectly came from ancient Egypt Horus. Islam
owes to both the Jews and Christians. To make it short, the world will disintegrate
before it realizes what was important: Religions all sustain the same search
of a holy truth as they attempt to relieve humans from the anxiety that
arises from the questions over death and after-life.
These inspirations underlie a fight for cultural supremacy
but show a tiny bit of concern for the advent of the kingdom of God. Prophecies
are not meant to serve the primacy of any single religion and culture over
all the others. What they do is to consider the nature of mankind and consequently
describe some striking events on the course of the destiny that will shape
a humanity worthy of God. Instead of always looking at the world with the
same blind eye, it would be preferable to resort to the one that sees.
It is useless to be alarmed by the fall of Baghdad! As
was seen in Afghanistan, Iran and all the new republics of Asia, reasonable
and moderated Islam finds its legitimacy in a broad popular base. It becomes
unavoidable unless the populations are oppressed. World peace depends on
the Christian camp capacity to get along with these governments of a new
type, which will hold responsibility for dispensing the crude oil reserves
of the planet for the next 60 years. Although the West should not resign
when injustice prevails, it is a pure waste to see there more evil than
already exists.
Nevertheless, the holy writings leave only little doubts
about the becoming of North-South and East-West relations. The fall of
Babylon is only the first of 7 plagues contained in the 7 cups of the wrath
of God:
(REV.15.8) "and the temple was filled with smoke
from God's glory and from his power. Thus no one could enter the temple
until the seven plagues from the seven angels were completed."
Most Westerners had their eyes riveted on television and
found the first cup to be painless. But they should not close their eyes
in front of what is to follow. Six cups are still overfull while the first
only half empty. They will soon taste the bitterness beyond the Iraqi borders.
(REV.16.1) "Then I heard a loud voice from the
temple declaring to the seven angels: "Go and pour out on the earth the
seven bowls containing God's wrath."
The 144 000
Revealing what is to follow, here is how John introduces
the 7 plagues, which the fall of Babylon forms a part of:
(REV.14.1) "Then I looked, and here was the Lamb
standing on Mount Zion, and with him were one hundred and forty-four thousand,
who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads."
The Lamb is The saver and the Living one, the Son of the
Father who stands upright in the mountain heading the 144 000. This number
causes to worry. It may have seemed huge in the 1st century, but it nowadays
represents only a negligible percentage of humanity, approximately 0,001%.
Shouldn't it be updated to take into account the increase in the world population?
To leave a way for men to feel at ease as they continue their misdeeds with
a full good conscience? Or does it on the contrary reveal that humanity
has been so deluded with iniquity that there only remains a handful of souls
worthy of Him on earth?
144 is the square of 12, and 12 apostles were given instructions
to spread the holy word on earth after the first resurrection. This figure
symbolizes the exponential diffusion of the New Testament throughout the
world from the starting point of Christ. Each was in charge to make 12
disciples who in turn made 12 more and so on, as stated in the Dead Sea
manuscripts. And all the 0s, the thousands that go behind the 144, represent
the crowds and nations that will have received the good news at the time
of the second resurrection. Then comes the universal redemption.
This does not mean that we should fear nothing for our
souls. The forces of good and evil face up each other in a world that is
torn between light and darkness. As they clash with increasing violence,
the primordial and original contrast sharpens, and we are left with nothing
to control of our destinies. We are completely blind in front of the events
of a world neverendingly more complex. Humans' only positive achievement
is what they disentangle in the confusion that lies deep in their hearts.
This is where they distinguish good from wrong.
The world has radicalised to the point it became a dangerous
place and a reference mark for robbers, liars and disciples of evil. And
the situation gets even worse as the final day victory approaches, which
is the day that will precede the last judgement. Seeing its hour coming,
the spirit of the Antichrist has invested Kim Jong Hill and other opponents
of the kingdom of light. The Antichrist and its supports revealed that
they hold in reserve for the world some dark and icy nights to come. But
with this darkness, there seems to alternate a burning and increasingly
brilliant light that belongs to Christ and his apostles.
Humanity was thrown down and launched in a foolish crusade
against an evil that is always renewed on the path of destiny. It is from
there that it extirpates all the concepts of good it knows since Eve, the
universal mother and partner, sinned in the garden of Eden. All was written
on the very first day when God solemnly declared as humans were being led
away:
"Man is now like one of us for his knowledge of the good
and the evil" (Genesis 3.22).
The difficult to understand remarks contained in Genesis
do not reject anything of the fault on women. They nevertheless have become
politically incorrect nowadays, proof that the world was lost. Similar
words that concern us are found in St-John's revelations with respect to
the 144000:
REV.14.4) "These are the ones who have not been
defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow
the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from humanity as firstfruits
to God and to the Lamb,"
Not one other part of the Bible justifies better Catholic
priests celibacy. It demonstrates the Catholic Church determination to
accompany humanity all the way to the days of advent. But, what is the
real meaning of the writing? To say the least, it would seem that women
have the singularity to divert men's attention from their only and unique
Parent.
The Lamb
If The Lamb can note the fall of Babylon in person, and
if it refers to today's Iraq, then it means that he is among us. But who
is he, and how should we recognize him? How will we know that it is he
and not the Antichrist?
His innocence
"The lamb" evokes an innocent character. In the Old
Testament, he became the object of a sacrifice after God ordered that the
bull holocaust be stopped. Christ is innocent of all wrong, and he is thus
compared to a lamb sacrificed to wash all of the world sins.
(REV.7.14 about the 144000) "So I said to him, "My lord,
you know the answer." Then he said to me, "These are the ones who have come
out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them
white in the blood of the Lamb! "
His sensitivity
For the majority, he evokes someone soft and tender. But
for some, he is weak to the point of making him an unimportant being that
will remain unseen only to surface several centuries after his coming.
Error! The Lamb will conduct nations with an iron rod, while his language
will be like a sharp-edged sword:
(REV.19.15) " From his mouth extends a sharp sword,
so that with it he can strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron
rod, and he stomps the winepress of the furious wrath of God, the All-Powerful."
It does not mean in any way that he will be someone violent,
unjust and insensitive. He is The Lamb, innocent of all sins. A lamb only
nourishes of milk and he belongs to the great family of vegetarians. It
can be imagined that this is a distinctive sign of his identity.
Leonardo Di Vinci, who was the greatest futurologist of
modern times, predicted and wrote that humanity will inevitably evolve to
a vegetarian diet. Besides, the early Christians communities did not consume
red-flesh meat, and this was part of the original teaching. Christ has
been seen breaking bread, drinking wine and recruiting fishermen, but no
one ever heard that he sacrificed a sheep and ate its flesh.
(Marc 6.38) "And he said to them, "How many loaves
do you have? Go and see." When they found out they said, "Five-and two fish."
"(Marc 14.24) "He said to them, "This is my blood, the blood of the covenant,
that is poured out for many. "(Marc 12.33, speaking about God) "And to love
him with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your strength
and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings
and sacrifices."
(See also the apocryph testament of the Ebionits).
Place, date of birth and nationality
An animal with two horns commonly represents Satan. But
in Revelations, it is a Lamb that corresponds to this description:
(REV.13.11) "Then I saw another beast coming
up from the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but was speaking like a
dragon."
If this is the same lamb, Catholics, Baptists' and others'
illusions are going to take a serious blow. But what lamb was ever seen
with horns!?There is a simple explanation:
(REV.17.12) "The ten horns that you saw are ten
kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive ruling authority
as kings with the beast for one hour."
Horns, in Revelations, do not symbolize evil but kings.
The Lamb would thus find himself at the head of two distinct nations (two
horns). To do so, the world legal standards would want him to have two nationalities.
It is at least a possibility. Another interpretation would be that two
people, one of whom being the Lamb, would share power over a single nation.
His mother is a woman with twelve stars over her head.
This is easily brought together with the Virgin Mary, Christ and 12 apostles.
The event of his birth has a symbolic dimension that finds its basis in
the New Testament.
(REV.12.1) "Then a great sign appeared in heaven:
a woman clothed with the sun, and with the moon under her feet, and on her
head was a crown of twelve stars." (REV.12.2) "She was pregnant and was
screaming in labor pains, struggling to give birth." (REV.12.5) "So the
woman gave birth to a son, a male child, who is going to rule over all the
nations with an iron rod. Her child was suddenly caught up to God and to
his throne,"
It is conceivable that the 12 stars represent Europe since
Europe was symbolized until recently with a blue flag and twelve stars.
This would say that the child's birth would have taken place in a period
following World War II and preceding the change of European statutes to
25 states a few months ago. And should one take into account France's role
in the creation of the union of 12, it would be a well-indicated birthplace.
But this interpretation is far too French centric. Reading
again, France would only be one of the 12 stars. It couldn't possibly at
the same time be found on the woman's head and under it. The symbol would
then represent Europe as a whole or a country full of glory like the virtuous
USA after World War 2. The red dragon would then be a symbol for the cold
war against the URSS:
(REV.12.3) "Then another sign appeared in heaven: a
huge red dragon that had seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were
seven diadem crowns."
And it is clear that the mother and her child that will
lead all the nations with an iron rod make themselves forgotten for some
years until the red dragon threat is put aside. Their exile lasts 4 and
a half years or a symbolically equivalent duration:
(REV.12.6) "and the woman fled into the wilderness
(desert) where a place had been prepared for her by God, so she could be
taken care of for 1260 days."
The woman flees to the desert, but it is not really said
whether the child does the same. In the Bible, the desert represents isolation
and meditation.
His war
The 10 horns then symbolize 10 nations allied with the
Beast that goes to perdition. The 7 countries that fight it during a war
are presented as heads:
(REV.17.9 et 17.20) "(This requires a mind that
has wisdom.) The seven heads are seven mountains the woman sits on. They
are also seven kings: five have fallen; one is, and the other has not yet
come, but whenever he does come, he must remain for only a brief time."
The term "head", in symbolic language, undoubtedly designates
some nations that direct the world, contrarily to the horns that are established
on the heads. At one point the 7 become 8 and then return to 7 as one of
them joins the 9 to form the group of 10; The G8 can correspond to this
set of events (see Time
and Places for Doomsday » on this website).
(REV. 17.11 et 17-12) "The beast that
was, and is not, is himself an eighth king and yet is one of the seven,
and is going to destruction. The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who
have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive ruling authority as kings
with the beast for one hour. "
The beast, the one named demon, betrays his alliance while
seeking to dominate the world, which will not be forgiven. The outcome
of the war makes no doubt:
(REV. 17.14) "They will fight against the Lamb,
and the Lamb will conquer them..."
The Lamb speaks like a dragon, and this symbolizes the
times of war. His action is decisive for the outcome of the conflict as
he leads the world to peace by the means of what appears to be a military
superiority. This person is symbolized by a dragon for a while, and then
returns to his usual state of a lamb.
A beast represents a human collective unhealthy spirit
that dominates groups, countries and political parties: Greed for power
and domination. Such a definition suits at the same time the holy writings
and common sense. One refers to a beast to describe the despicable regimes
like Nazi Germany, Roman emperors and Saddam's Iraq. In spite of this simple
definition, it seems that it is seen everywhere it's not, too late when
it shows, and that the world is doomed to see it returning all the time.
(REV. 13.3) "One of the beast's heads appeared
to have been killed, but the lethal wound had been healed. And the whole
world followed the beast in amazement;" (REV.13.4) "they worshiped the dragon
because he had given ruling authority to the beast, and they worshiped the
beast too, saying: "Who is like the beast?" and "Who is able to make war
against him?"
His religion
The 7 hills at the time of the writing (providing it was
in the third Century) must have represented the seat of Christendom: Rome.
The woman is then the Catholic Church. The 7 hills and seven heads fuse.
Altogether, it can mean that the group of 7 is Christian:
(REV.17.9) "(This requires a mind that has wisdom.)
The seven heads are seven mountains the woman sits on. They are also seven
kings:"
But with this reading, it can't be the same as the woman
with the 12 stars.
The Lamb is the Way and the conductor of mankind to God.
He is a guide and spiritual leader of our time. The path he shows leads
to eternal life.
(REV.7.17) " because the Lamb in the middle
of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
His wife
Jerusalem is a Holy City for the Jews and Christians,
but also for the Moslems. From this city, the Lamb directs one of the Abraham's
religions, if not all three, because they lead to the truth:
(REV. 21.9 et 21.10) "Then one of the seven angels
who had the seven bowls full of the seven final plagues came and spoke to
me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb!" So
he took me away in the Spirit to a huge, majestic mountain and showed me
the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. "
Jerusalem was historically the first Moslem Holy City
and not the third like commonly allowed today. Prayers initially required
turning not towards Mecca, but Jerusalem. It is starting on the 4th year
of his teaching after the Jews refused to convert that Mohamed elected another
city. This is a good reason and possibility to believe that the Lamb will
reconcile the three religions from there.
Nothing to do with the Antichrist
After the first explanation about his horns that leads
to think that the lamb has two nationalities, to distinguish Christ from
the demon becomes quite complicated. A question remains unanswered as to
whether the Beast is the same as the Demon. The following proves that the
Beast and the devil belong to the same side:
(REV.20.10) "And the devil who deceived them
was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false
prophet are too, and they will be tormented there day and night forever
and ever."
There are three distinct entities: The devil, the beast
and the faked prophet. The Beast is a treacherous nation that should have
better maintained its alliance with the 7. It perishes in a description
that can be perceived to be an atomic flood. The faked prophet is associated
to this country. The devil is overcome last, most certainly because he represents
evil in general. His eradication follows the final victory.
The holy writings are formal, an Antichrist is one that
opposes Christian worship and attempts to destroy its bases. His religion
could be atheism, which has become increasingly difficult to part from secularity.
He is neither courageous nor an example of knighthood. His sensitivity
is that of a butcher. This is precisely the opposite of The Lamb. Only
the Antichrist and supports have sufficient reasons to feed the world with
a confusing intellectual subterfuge that disallows to identify one from
the other.
His Power
Leader of 2 nations or co-leader of one great nation,
at the head of an alliance of 7, he has the power to open the 7 seals.
To each corresponds a plague contained in one of the 7 cups of the wrath
of God:
(REV.6.1) "I looked on when the Lamb opened one
of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying
with a thunderous voice, "Come!"
The cups spilled on humanity represent catastrophes while
the seals may just be the preliminary knowledge of them:
(REV. 5.9) "You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals because you were killed and at the cost of your own
blood you have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people,
and nation."
The Lamb expresses the wrath of God in a manner that can
appear supernatural:
(REV.6.16) They said to the mountains and to
the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who is seated
on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,"
But this part does not necessarily mean that he starts
the tribulations himself. He seems to be quite well informed though. He
may belong to a restricted circle in the realm of the power of nations while
the events start. His ability to open the seals comes from his special
relationship with God.
God's eyes on earth
A lamb thus has two horns, but in another passage, he
has 7 of them. He also has seven eyes, which are the seven spirits and
the seven eyes through which God sees the world (REV.1.12, 1.13 and 21.23,
John 5.35):
(REV.5.6) "Then I saw standing in the middle
of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the
elders, a Lamb that appeared to have been killed. He had seven horns and
seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth."
Once at the head of the seven nations, he becomes the
spirit of God on earth. He would have been predestined, chosen by God and
invested of His power to represent Him on earth and for his eyes to relay
to Him.
An ideal for humans
Once
the plague period is over, human history and consciousness will be forever
imprinted:
(REV.21.23) "The city does not need the sun or
the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its
lamp is the Lamb."
He has power in the skies and revives worship:
(REV.21.27) "but nothing ritually unclean will
ever enter into it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or practices
falsehood, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of
life."
And he remains forever a spiritual leader among all men
who end up understanding the true nature of God:
(REV.22.3) "And there will no longer be any curse, and
the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will
worship him,"
To Conclude
The postulates on which the popes rested their authority
and legitimacy over the Centuries become clearer. They thought that their
power had to be military. They felt obliged to start crusading against
the Arabs after the destruction of the Church of Nativity in the year
1025. With their high facts of arms to conquer the holy city, the templars
felt let down because they did not attend the last judgment, the reign
of the Lamb and the descent from the sky of a new Heavenly Jerusalem.
Give and take, the dragon breaks away and overpowers the world every 1000
years (REV.20.2).
The number of possible interpretations of Saint John's
Revelations is close to infinity. They vary according to the circumstances
and sensitivity of the readers. However, the great moralizing principles
contained in the book are constant. And only the blind would not see
that if something of a low register was to take place, it would be imminent.
Time has come to put faith and reason to work, to listen to what the heart
has to say and not to support the decisions that will inevitably lead
humanity to doom. No other path leads to salvation than loving God and
one's neighbour. It's hard to be up to this last point.
